Hey Janet,

I think you will find the forum very new as the plugins are also new. So not a whole lot of activity happening yet, mainly I will be replying :D

However its still good to get any none private questions let say, on the forum and who knows what answers you might get in future when things pick up a little.

Thanks again and hope the plugin is good for your needs

Hi,

That is unsual because the PEAR functions are not written by me and used by thousands. Nothing in those functions have been changed recently, what version of CSV 2 POST are you using?

Do you have any other plugins that might use PEAR functions because that message doesnt actually state that its CSV 2 POST, I'm wondering if there is a conflict.

Thanks

I'll download the latest and uninstall the rest of the plugins.

the free version works, the paid ones don't.

thanks a lot for the quick reply

Hello again,

There are demos setup to test the plugin and confirm that it does work at http://pro.csv2post.com. There are others but thats the main one right now. I test the plugin during development both localhost and run it on multiple sites, never ever seen that error.

In that case a developer would always look at the environment first, what is the difference with your wordpress to mine. Thats the information I need or to be able to login to your blog and see myself which I'm more than happy to do. ;)

The other issue with any data project is the data which is what the PEAR functions deal with. Does your data have any HTML or PHP in it? If you could send me a sample that be great :D

Thanks again

The pro edition plugin worked for me one time. And now it no longer works. Can't find anyone else having problems. I've tried many different things. I double check my csv file and theres no issues. Any tips?

Hey

Are you using full processing because I think that may have an issue right now. I'm currently working on the plugin, adding more debugging. The function I'm add throughout the plugin will help to determine where the plugin reaches when trying to process data. That will help me quickly figure out where any issues may.

If you could login to the demo blog and try a campaign there. If it still doesnt work then let me know what campaign it is so I can then figure out what settings your applying. The plugin does work, I'm importing with the latest edition and so are recent customers. However the same recent customers have said that sometimes it can be difficult to get the plugin started.

Maybe an issue with the timer I put in to prevent multiple processing events. That is for security but I understand that when people are initially setting the campaign up they need to know its actually going to be importing when they shutdown for the day.

Look out for a new version soon and we'll go from there.

Regards
Ryan

Do you mean online demos yes? There is one here...

http://shopperpress.csv2post.com/

Username is CSV2POSTSHOPPERPRESS and password is WEBTECHGLOBAL

None for ClassiPress yet. I will create it eventually but right now I'm making a lot of changes to CSV 2 POST itself. It has to be better :D
