My ambition for WebTechGlobal has always been to provide services or support for students in the IT industry. To do this WTG itself must take on a wide range of projects, get involved in every aspect of the internet and users of it. We believe in “White Space”, a term used by the University of Abertay in Dundee, Scotland. Acheiving the dream of a company that has staff disciplined in every aspect of computing, art and design was never going to be easy, but that is what is required if WebTechGlobal is to make use of the blank canvass that is White Space. The goal is to provide such a wide range of services that no client is turned down, everyone in the team learns from other discplines in ways that they may never have if they worked within their disciplines natural world. On this basis we are searching long and hard for people with a desire to branch out to other career or skill paths. To join with people in other professions and in a show of skill that results in something unique everytime, provide the very best results.

The positions listed below are requirements for the team we desire as part of our long term goal. However they are not jobs, you will work with us and not for us. Payment from clients for solo projects will go directly to yourself. The purpose of our approach is to provide our brand to help you gain work, your input to WebTechGlobal is service provision and operational support for clients we could no otherwise discuss projects with. Partnership is available to those who show dedication and positive results within their place of study or customer feedback.
Here are a list of specific courses and individual skills we seek. I’m listing individual skills to emphises a high demand in that area.
- Photography Student: 6 month studies complete
- Networking & PC Maintenance: 6 month studies complete
- Web & Multimedia Related: two years study complete, continuing to Degree level
- Video Production: we require video tutorials with a commercial touch
- Web Design & Development: two years study complete, continuing to Degree level
- PHP: Ryan Bayne is looking for someone to work closely with on php at this time
- Java,Javascript,Ajax skilled needed urgently
- WordPress customising: experianced individual needed for many projects right now
- WordPress Administrator: no experiance required
- phpBB Forum Administrator: no experiance needed
- Digital Art & Design student: high demand for unique images to be used in creating site themes
- Flash experiance required: various types of applications required for many websites
Work Location
Working from home or computer access elsewhere is essential. Premises will not be setup until we have established more partners in each of the main disciplines that we find ourselves branching towards. The location will probably be Kirkcaldy, due to increasing office space at this time and other development due in coming years will open up certain opportunities for a new business.
