The first realse of this plugin was a quick build of the foundation really. Not much too it and buggy. I found a bug in 0.0.2 since its realease but it’s minor. Here is a list of changes since the first release, all making up to an interesting plugin I think. The next release will move closer to a premium edition with a lot of cool tools and functions for administrating products.
- Product edit page with multiple views. Prices view shows each products base price and variations. Only works with custom fields, premium version may work with shortcodes if I can find a suitable approach.
- Settings page added with the most required options. Premium edition will have more indepth settings for advanced e-commerce sites and intigration with other plugins.
- Added various admin pages including video tutorials, updates and forum. All iFramed support pages from the WebTechGlobal website. Please visit them regularly for changes and information about the coming premium version.
- Tools page added, so far only an uninstall button. Premium version will probably deliver most tools, I’m not letting it slip whats coming!
- There is a new attribute called variations. This holds the total number of variation items you want to exist for a product.
- Renamed all variables to do with variations (this one is developer information really).
- Improved the widget/cart display. Looks normal, more options will come later in premium edition. Anyone wanting to change it will need to edit the plugins code or donate to WebTechGlobal for some help on that.
- Installation error fixed.
