Taxonomies
Taxonomy panel can now be used. I’ve only tested it with single meta values per post, per taxonomy. I need to get this version out for the sake of fixes and get this early phase in Taxonomies tested. I’m not sure how the function that adds taxonomies takes in multiple values but I’m hoping it just requires a comma separated string. Feel free to try this in your data.
Yoast
Improvements made to integration for WordPress SEO by Yoast thanks to some help from Al. The first person to actually edit code on the plugin then respond with the working changes, that was nice to see. Just don’t do it too much or I will need to start paying you! Thank you for your effort, I hope this update meets your requirements. Let me know if you would like more done in this area.
Easy Project Progress
I done some work on the Easy Project system today and I’m going to keep working on it daily. I’m adding default values to the $csv array so that less configuration needs to be done on the Project Configuration screen. Right now you can import data on the first panel then go straight to page 5 Finish and start creating posts. No need to access the last panel and save general post settings. Much more than that is planned however. What I coded today was steps towards a single post template design suiting all CSV files, so we can bypass the Design page also.
I want to make it possible to create posts directly from CSV file. This is the opposite of how the entire plugin is designed but it is worth doing for those who just want to upload then see posts being created moments later. This is the ultimate goal but on a plugin that will configure SEO values, categories, design and more without messing about with further settings.
Another version will come soon with more changes for Easy Projects and hopefully you will start seeing something impressive.
