New Features

1. Store Images Locally: this is required for ClassiPress and Shopperpress or other themes that use a string of URL separated by comma within a custom field. You can apply the new feature by going to the Function menus on the Custom Fields panel. Select one of the local image storage options, currently they all have the same effect but I have added different entries should they require customising individually later. Using these abilities will create a lot more work for your WordPress to carry out, especially if each post has 3 or more images. Please take this into consideration on shared servers, you may wish to decrease the speed that you create posts. Do this by making changes to your projects choosing Speed Profile. Increase the seconds delay a little and reduce the number of posts to be created per event.

Improvements

1. Undefined function has_post_thumbnail: this code existed before version 6.1.2 but come into use during improvements for automatic updating. It is a standard WordPress function but I was not aware that a hook is required to call theme support. This function is normally used within a theme and is not loaded until requested.
2. Many Post Revisions: the plugin was running post updates when the user had not set it yet. That was a fault in the logic of the argument checking if user wanted automatic post updated or not. Updating was then being done even if there were no new records, meaning a revision was entered to the post table whenever a post was viewed.
3. _oembed Custom Fields: the plugin will check for the oembed value within a custom field key and avoid displaying it on the Custom Fields form. This was making it look rather messy.

Notice

1. The plan to create short code for display related items has been cancelled. There is a good plugin to handle this already so it is not really needed.

Coming

1. ClassiPress and Easy Projects: I’m keen to make the plugin detect that classipress is activate and adapt to suit this. The same will be done with ShopperPress. A small start will be done on this for the next version and it will include a new project option on Start page…”Create Easy Project”. The idea being that the plugin takes care of most of the project configuration based on the theme installed, the csv file and some basic information submitted by the user.
2. Mass Publish Post Tool: it would be nice to be able to create our posts in private or draft or pending then later publish them all. Plugins exists to do that but we really need something at hand so this will come soon.
