Version 6.0.5 still had a problem caused by the new Post to Data Sync function. When editing posts manually the function also caused posts to go blank. This was a simple case of incorrect information on the WordPress site. The information for content_save_pre stated that the argument for the filter was the post id and it was actually the post content. The post content must be returned by the function but I was not doing this and realised what the issue was. I have also edited the page on WordPress.org to reflect how it really works.
A new option has also been added named eci_installpackage. It has been added to the free package and the main use is for the paid package to detect previous installations. At times an old installation can conflict but now it will not. The full edition will remove previous traces of the free edition on activation.
