ECI Version 1.7.1
The plugin package is finally growing in size with the addition of some images, more to come. I’ve been running tests but I found there was not enough flow in the interface yet so I spent more time improving that.
Changes Made
- There is now a line of buttons in the control panel. RSS feed button, please use this for instant updates about Easy CSV Importer only. There is a tutorial button, replacing the previous link with text and there is a button for each stage of the project creation process. The main reason for these buttons is too make my system of not being able to skip stages, more obvious. Buttons will be grey, if they are not yet accessable.
- All uploaded csv files will now show in the project change menu in the control panel. This was a slightly complicated change, because I had to sort it to process new files that have never been submitted before. So, what will happen is the plugin will forward you to the Start page and automatically begin a “standard” project.
- Your current project file will no longer show twice in the control panel, change project menu.
- Beta mode setting will not only display all errors in your WordPress blog for any theme and plugins but will also allow the toggling of data arrays at the footer of the plugins pages. The data arrays can be handy for quickly checking your project configuration.
- Improved the layouts of the data arrays shown in the footer when Beta mode is activated.
