ECI Version 1.6.2 – Widget Tweaks
The early release of the widget was simply to test peoples reaction and get some feedback before putting a lot of hours into it. However it fell a little too short and did not allow many people to test it properly. You should now be able to give it a try, I’ve included a screenshot to see how it looks.
Installation Instructions
There is a new currency setting, that needs initiated for the first time by saving it on the settings page. The currency symbol is used if you would like to display prices in the widget.
Changes Made
- Currency symbol setting added
- Widget content was not displaying because the variables expected specific column names, my own files column names. An oversight which has been fixed and everyone should see more happening when trying the widget now.
- Widget form was a little confusing, it showed column titles in the 4 menus for a different project than submitted on that form itself. The currenct project is irrelevant and the form now shows the titles for the database table you select.
- Pre-made tags can now be used. If you have a column of tags you are best using it for more accurate tags plus it allows whole phrases. Automated tag generator only uses single words or numbers because there is no way of it knowing what is a phrase and so on. I’m sure you get the point.
- Error fixed on data import stage, when you have already imported data. Fixed this… Undefined index: autoupdate in C:AppServwwwplugindevelopmentwp-contentpluginseasy-csv-importereci_datatransfer.php on line 27
Next Changes
- I’ve still not found the time to simple run my own projects for wider testing. So priority will go to that for the rest of today and maybe tommorow depending on the results.
