ECI Version 1.5.9
Not a lot of changes but there is an upgrade. I’m hoping to make new released every 2-3 days during September. I’ll try to get a mix of upgrades and fixes for known problems applies.
- Thumbnails are not supported using the functions added to WordPress in version 2.9. Simply select your image url data column on the special functions page to activate this feature. Please report any problems with it and tell me if you can think of ways to improve its use.
- List of ECI releated links removed from main plugin page.
- Added tutorials page to administration menu which include YouTube and Blip TV.
- Added forum page to the administration menu.
- Updates page now shows full list of posts instead of a single post.
Next Upgrades Planned For 5th September 2010
- Post status setting to allow user to create deliberate duplicates i.e. instead of private, default to publish.
- Widget for displaying data in sidebar (will start basic and receive numerous upgrades)
- Setting for excerpt length, this will allow the excerpt to be used for other parts of a theme.
- ClassiPress custom field options like ShopperPress.
- Aiming for 2-3 hours of testing on update system with the objective of fixing some known issues. This will be repeated daily until there is much improvement.
