ECI: Taxonomies
This feature is currently in development. This feature allow users to populate taxonomies by pairing their CSV file columns with each taxonomy they require. You will find it on the Configuration page for Post Creation projects. It is being designed to offer taxonomies in relation to the Post Types they are intended for. This means that a taxonomy is not populated unless its Post Type is the one being used. Easy CSV Importer allows multiple post types per project. It will not populate every taxonomy that exists, per post, simply because the taxonomy has been setup on interface.
Key Information
- Easy CSV Importer does not register taxonomies at this time, it is recommend that you use a good plugin for this
- The plugin does not manage taxonomies, it only makes use of the ones you have registered using another plugin

Yes, I’m interested in this feature!
I got started on it then ended up spending 2 days adding features for handling custom post types. Required before more taxonomy features but not exactly what I intended to add. That happens all the time in development though, if the developer wants to cover all the angles first time around.
Next version 6.2.0 will have some of these features but it won’t be until 6.2.1 for them to be usable. I’ll be looking for interfacing testing and feed back before making the finishing touches.
Sure is and there is now about 200 items on the to do list for the plugin. Should finish the list by 2013, maybe ! lol

. but you did the right thing with adding custom post-types first. This is huge, probably the most valuable thing missing in ECI
