ECI New Release 6.1.8
Multiple parent categories, a data exporter with ability to select individual columns from any table in your WordPress database, user import/create project type, various improvements to the way updating works and improvements to areas of the interface.
I’m keeping it short. As you all know there is a list of changes in the plugins readme.txt file at all times. Copying and pasting it here then formatting it for the web takes time, time best spent on the plugin. From now on I’ll keep these posts short. From now on new versions will come monthly unless a major bug is found.
June will be about improving the interface even more, making updating easier to understand, making some progress on Blog 2 Blog features and creating help content.
Projected release: June.
Actual release: End of May.
Wow. That is unusual promptness, and being true to word. Fantastic!!!
(Of course, that’s because all of my requests couldn’t make it in for a few more releases.)
Nice:
- Start page order of panels now more logical for a beginner
- Speed profile values readout much easier to read
- List of custom fields easier to read without _menu_item_ fields
- Great new feature to “Mass Publish Posts”
Buglet?:
In the “Database Manager” page, I am seeing the phrase “Not Required” output as text just above the panel, repeated as many times as there are fields in that panel.
Is this a input gone crazy?

Thanks to your feedback the Start page was finished. The Speed page needs totally changed, something I will do later as it won’t be a small task to make it as impressive as I have in mind. Custom fields should no longer show values with _menu_item_ in them. If it is still showing up please let me know. Feature to mass publish posts was added, it is a button on the Actions panel on Finish page.
The Database Manager issue of Not Require also fixed.
