ECI Failed To Open Path Error
This relates to Easy CSV Importer and it is an interface message that often occurs when attempting to upload a csv file using the plugins own upload form. In most cases it means that the folder for the csv file to be uploaded to does not actually exist. Straight after posting this I’m going to code a button into this message for manual folder creation, make life easier. However if your using a version that does not have such a button you may create the required folder manually. Easy CSV Importer uses a default folder named “ecifiles” which must be in the “wp-content” directory i.e. “www.domain.com/wp-content/ecifiles”.
Failed To Open Path/Directory
The path being used for uploading your csv file does not appear to be a valid directory or a directory with permissions that will allow the upload. Your CSV file was not uploaded.
Custom CSV File Paths
ECI 2 was built the the ability to add custom locations. If you see the message about, it may not indicate that the “ecifiles” folder has not yet been created but rather your own directory is not complete or incorrect.
