ECI: Create Easy Project
Another new idea that you won’t fund in another importer for WordPress and it has a lot more to come. I have detailed plans to create a whole new plugin based on this concept and that will be done when it is perfected in Easy CSV Importer first. An Easy project is one that does as much for you as possible. The plugin will hold many conditions to do with various aspects of your blog. Your theme, your source of data, your server settings and any plugins you have installed will effect how your project is configured. To make this work the plugin needs pre-made templates for not just post content but meta data also.

Features
There are not many features on the form for creating an Easy project but it is important you understand when you can and cannot use this project type. You should really only use the Easy project creation form when the plugin indicates that it has established enough facts about your installation to configure most of your project for you. Otherwise you would be best doing it all yourself so you know what settings are being applied.
Theme Detected
The main purpose of an Easy project is to apply instant configuration for your theme. Where your theme is not known, then the configuration applied may be basic with a standard post template design to suit most needs. I need to store a list of known themes and create a configuration for each for this to have as much use as possible.
Data Source
The ECI plugin will look for common values in your file for each of the stored data sources. This means affiliate networks mainly. Each affiliate network creates their files in a unique way i.e Trade Doubler has columns with TD in them. When ECI can confirm your file comes from a specific data source then the name of that source will be displayed otherwise Unknown will be displayed for your file.
Data Set
This takes things a step further by actually trying to determine what your data is. This can only happen if the data source is known. ECI will then check specific columns if they exist and those column values will help ECI to decide what your data is. This will help determine what you may want done with your data in terms of post layout and the images used to help create that layout.
Easy Project Column Title Variations
I’ve tried to make the plugin as intelligent as possible. It will compare your CSV file titles to various possible and similar titles that may suit several uses. However it will only work with the most common title names. If your CSV file column titles include special characters or even spaces, the chances are they will not match any of the possible variations. In that case, they will not fit any possible uses. The plugin will be coded with all the commonly used column titles from affiliate networks. If you find your columns are not triggering specific features to become automatically configured, consider changing them to any of those below.

Featured Image
These values will allow Easy CSV Importer to create your featured images. If you do not want featured images and you do not plan to update your CSV file. Simply change your title so that it does not suit any in this list.
