ECI 1.6.8 Released
I was going to hold back on realeasing this until more testing had been done and the text spin features were added. However I need to run some tests on the update functions and make improvements there as a matter of urgency. So text spinning will be delayed but not for very long. The next version will have it for sure.
Changes
- Made vital improvements to manual seperator changing on Start page. Previously there were areas of the plugin where the users saved seperator would not be applied. It has been corrected, anyone requiring to force the seperator on the Start page should find it working better.
- Added a new “Help” button to the media buttons line above the wysiwyg editor. It will only show on the Post Layout page, no where else in your blog. I’ve not added more help information, I’ve only moved the information that was already on the Post Layout page to the window that opens when pressing the button. It will be updated later.
- Tokens are also displayed when clicking another new media button. Eventually I will add the ability to simply click on a token and it will be inserted to the wysiwyg editor, no copying and pasting. For now it is a basic list of tokens as before.
- Yet another media button but this one is for eStore campaigns. It will display eStore shortcodes for pasting to the wysiwyg editor. The plugin can now create a new page for each product imported and add the new product id to the shortcode completing the product display.
- New folder added to plugin files named “img”, it currently holds the icons for media buttons. Later I will begin improving the interface with more graphics.
- eStore support allows the choice of importing data to make products only, or importing the same data to make products and pages. Each page automatically displaying the product simply by placing shortcodes in the wysiwyg editor. Support is basic to begin with until I find out what the mos common needs are and how best to continue from here.
