ECI 1.6.6 – AIOSEO Beta
The latest version comes with changes throughout the plugin, code wise not so much the interface. You should use with care, only download if your starting a new project and want to use the new All In One SEO features. Again I have stated “Beta” as an indication that it is best to test before relying on this version.
- You can now use tokens on the Post Layout page, to create a custom meta title template. This will allow you to have a different page title from your post title. Something discussed in the forum here. Those of you new to SEO should have a read and comment with any questions because chuckie obviously knows what their talking about.
- Custom meta description can also be created, in the same way that the title is created. You don’t need to use the excerpt as description or use All In One SEO Packs automatic approach to generating a description. You can add a combination of tokens to built a description or if you already have a good description for SEO in your csv file data then just add the token for that column.
