Download ECI Version 6.2.2
A new beta will be released very soon but I wanted to encourage more upgrades to 6.2.2 first due to a release of free edition which version is higher than the last stable paid edition. Meaning it offers upgrade on the plugins page in WordPress, not so good. This is easily overlooked. Please do not use automatically upgrading, it downloads from WordPress and that is the free edition.
Version 6.2.3 Coming Soon
Version 6.2.3 has changes that prevents people pushing the plugin harder than a server will allow it and the ability to pair categories in your data with categories already in your blog. This is a key feature that existed in CSV 2 POST and was somehow missed.
If your not sure what I just meant. It is basically the idea that category names in your data may not have the exact same terms as those in your blog. You don’t want more categories to be created simply because they do not match exactly i.e. Horror (blog category) and horrorstory (data category). You can now pair them up and even if the terms don’t even look similar you can use the existing category instead. The form lists all the distinct values from the columns you select as category columns. Each unique value is listed with a menu of your blogs categories, simple.
