Affiliate Mage Monster and ECI
Someone asked me to integrate the Affiliate Mage Monster plugin with Easy CSV Importer so I just wanted to reach out for some opinions and ideas.
From what I understand, the Mage plugin does everything I had planned already anyway. The use of API from all the large affiliate networks, Amazon, Google and eBay also. The API code to make this happen is simple and in books. I’ve just not got around to it yet as I’m still making perfections to the core of ECI. However seeing how such a plugin does exist already I thought I would ask for some feedback. Does anyone who knows Easy CSV Importer also use or have used Affiliate Mage Monster? If so, do you have any suggestions on what features on Mage would work well with ECI? Is there anything Mage is missing that ECI already offers or could offer when taking into consideration the things it already does? What I mean by that is, is the ECI core plugin a foundation for much more ability than what the Mage plugin could offer right now?
Any feedback at all is welcome. Even registering your interest will help me prioritise this upgrade. If you don’t comment below and it will not be high on the list. Right now my target audience is those importing their own data and importing affiliate data from a CSV file rather than API. My API upgrades will come when the ECI core plugin is well used and solid. Until then, it might be worth integrating ECI with Mage.
Mage caused some errors on activation in my blog, some functions it uses are deprecated and seeing how the plugin is free. I’ve no idea if it gets further development.
I think it’s a great idea Ryan it will help build large sites full of products. I don’t have mage but I have heard good things about it.
On another note, I’ve sent you an email, no reply yet, what has happened to the download link? When I log in and go to my dashboard there is no link for downloading the latest version???
