Get Paid To Improve ECI
I’ve been working on Easy CSV Importer for over a year now and I would like some support on improving it by investing my own money by paying users. I would like to move on to do WordPress themes this year so I really must finish most of the promised improvements within the next few months. To make that happen I’m offering anyone a reward for improving the plugin in a way which I agree. Please discuss any plans you may have to make changes to the plugin prior to doing the work so that you do not waste time and I can suggest areas that are in demand by my customers. Changes include interface icons, Ajax forms, translation and the addition of an API. Some are small hourly tasks where others may take days or even weeks such as the API which will control use of the plugin and much more. Another thing I need right now are some glossy looking banners for advertising on Google AdWords, a professional sales video with a voice other than my Scottish accent and some general administration such as documenting the plugins features or php functions.
My budget varies so I can’t accept too many peoples offers at once. The plugin is not highly profitable, I get paid the minimum wage and so donations are welcome. Although I provide unlimited upgrades without charge at this time, that may change when the plugin is far more advanced. 100 customers paying a small fee per month to get the latest version would greatly increase the work done on the plugin. The price is planned to increase but that may result in less sales, it will still be done whatever the case. So I am asking anyone with the budget to offer their time or funds to help improve a tool they rely on. My history proves that I am dedicated to the plugin and I’m still trying to give everyone their money worth even 2 years after starting with the first plugin, CSV 2 POST.
